![]() Veeam is another one i have used and it works pretty good as well. They barely noticed the performance issue and were able to stay working through the server fix. In a previous work place i had to spin this setup a couple times for different clients. No need to find hardware to fire up a VM to get your server access back. If your server goes down for any reason you can virtualize within minutes on the Datto Appliance directly. If there is a large amount of data it can have a high cost but the services and service is amazing. If you have the budget I am using Datto SIRIS​ for my servers. It also provides you a report when backups are pass or fail to your email. It allows for incremental backups and doing a BMR (Bare Metal Restore) to other hardware if needed. I have a Synology NAS and i am using there Synology Active Backup for Business for my workstations and it works like a charm.
